Stock Report​

This report provides a complete overview of stock movement within a given period. It helps the Accounts and Stores teams track opening balances, inward and outward movements, and closing balances both in terms of quantity and value.

1.1 Search for Stock Report​

Step 1: Access the Report Section

  • Navigate to the main left-side menu
  • Go to Accounts β†’ Reports β†’ Stock Report
  • This opens the search filter screen

Step 2: Apply Search Filters

The following fields are available:

  • Report From Date / Report To Date: Date pickers to define the reporting period
  • Product Type: Dropdown to select the category of products
  • Search Button: Displays stock data based on the applied filters
  • Clear Button: Resets all filters to default values

Step 3: Generate the Report

  • Click Search to display stock data for the selected period
  • Click Clear to reset all filters

1.2 View Report Results​

After clicking Search, the report results are displayed in a tabular format.

Opening Balance ValueValue of stock at the beginning of the period
Opening Balance QuantityQuantity of stock at the beginning of the period
Inward QuantityQuantity received during the period
Inward ValueValue of inward stock
Outward QuantityQuantity dispatched or consumed during the period
Outward ValueValue of outward stock
Closing Balance QuantityQuantity remaining at the end of the period
Closing Balance ValueValue of remaining stock at the end of the period

Additional Search Option:
A Search field (top-right) allows filtering results by keyword (e.g., Product Number, Revision).


1.3 Export and Print Options​

At the top of the results table, the following options are available:

  • Excel: Export the report into an Excel file (columns retained as displayed)
  • Print: Generate a print-friendly version of the report

Notes​

  • A red warning may appear if exchange rates are unavailable
  • Some parts may be excluded if supplier or product details are missing
  • Ensure correct date range and product type selection for accurate data visibility
  • Exported Excel files retain the same column structure as displayed on-screen
