Step 1: Reach the Item Category​

From the main side menu, click on "Purchase", then go to "Masters", and finally choose "Cost Split Up Category".
This will open the Cost Split Up Category Search page.

Step 2: Adding a Cost Split Up Category​

Located at the top-right corner of the Cost Split Up Category Search page, click on the β€œAdd Cost Split Up Category” button.

Step 3: Fill in Details​

Upon clicking the Add Cost Split Up Category button, the form will open. Complete the following information:

  • Category [Text Field] [Mandatory]
    A short, unique name for the charge category.

  • Description [Text Field] [Mandatory]
    Additional details describing the category.

1.2 Search Cost Split Up Category​

Search a Cost Split Up Category – Step-by-Step​

Step 1: Start Searching​

On the Cost Split Up Category Search page, you can search in different ways:

  • By Category: Type the category.
  • For All: If you don't have a specific category, just click "Search" to see all Cost Split Up Categories.

Step 2: See the Results​

After clicking "Search", you'll see results:

  • If you searched by Category, you'll find the matching item.

Step 3: Export an Excel​

The Export as Excel feature allows the user to download the currently displayed Cost Split Up Category records into an Excel file.

Step 1: Find Cost Split Up Category Edit​

Go to the Cost Split Up Category Search page.

Step 2: Start Editing​

Step 4: Update Info​

On the Edit page, you’ll see existing details.
You can update your entry and then proceed to submit it.

Step 5: Save Changes​

After editing, review your changes.
When ready, click "Submit" to save the updates.
