1.1 Add Gate Entry​

Add a Gate Entry Step-by-Step

Step 1: Reach the Gate Entry Screen

From the main Side menu, click on Packing → Operations → Gate Entry.
This will directly open the Gate Entry page.

Step 2: Add the Gate Entry Details

  • Entry Type [Dropdown] (Mandatory) – Select the type of gate entry (Inward/Outward).
  • Gate No [Dropdown] (Mandatory) – Choose the gate number from the list.
  • Gate Entry Number [Text Field] (Mandatory) – Enter the unique gate entry number.
  • Gate Entry Date [Text Field] (Mandatory) – Enter the unique gate entry number (maximum 16 characters).
  • Vendor Type [Dropdown] (Mandatory) – Select whether the vendor is a Customer, Supplier, or Both.
  • Customer and Supplier [Dropdown] (Optional) – Select the customer/supplier name.
  • Vehicle Number [Text Field] (Optional) – Enter the vehicle number (maximum 16 characters).
  • Box Type [Dropdown] (Optional) – Select the type of box used.
  • No of Box [Text Field] (Optional) – Enter the total number of boxes.

Step 3: Add Line Item(s)

In the Line Item(s) section:

  • Type [Dropdown] (Mandatory) – Select the type of item.
  • Product [Dropdown] (Mandatory) – Select the product.
  • Quantity [Text Field] (Mandatory) – Enter the product quantity.
  • Unit [Dropdown] (Optional) – Select the unit of measurement (e.g., Nos, Kg, etc.).

Step 4: Add and Clear

  • Add – Click Add to include the line item.
  • Clear – Click Clear to reset the fields.

Step 5: Save the Gate Entry

  • Submit – After filling in all required fields, click Submit to save the Gate Entry.
  • Cancel – Click Cancel to abort the process.

1.2 Search Gate Entry​

Search Gate Entry Step-by-Step.

Step 1: Enter Search Filters

  • Entry Type [Dropdown] (Optional) – Select the type of entry.
  • Gate No [Dropdown] (Optional) – Choose the gate number.
  • Gate Entry Number [Text Field] (Optional) – Enter the unique gate entry number (maximum 16 characters).
  • Box Type [Dropdown] (Optional) – Select the type of box.
  • Vendor Type [Dropdown] (Optional) – Select the vendor type.
  • Gate Entry From Date [Text Field] (Mandatory) – Select the starting date range.
  • Gate Entry To Date [Text Field] (Mandatory) – Select the ending date range.

Step 2: Search or Clear

  • Search – Fetches results based on selected filters.
  • Clear – Resets all fields to default.

Step 3: View Results

Results matching your criteria are displayed in a table with the following columns:

  • S.No – Serial number of the record.
  • View/Edit – Click to open the Gate Entry in edit mode.
  • Entry Type – Whether the entry is Inward or Outward.
  • Gate No – The gate number.
  • Gate Entry Number – Auto-generated unique number.
  • Gate Entry Date – Date on which the gate entry is recorded.
  • Box Type – Type of box (e.g., Wooden, Plastic).

1.3 Edit Gate Entry Process​

Edit a Gate Entry Step-by-Step

Step 1: Access the Edit Page

From the results table, click View/Edit next to the record you wish to modify.

Step 2: Update Details

Modify any editable fields: update Type | Product | Quantity as needed.

Step 3: Capture & Upload Files

The Edit screen also provides options to:

  • Capture an Image.
  • Upload Files (up to 3MB).

Step 4: Save or Cancel

  • Submit – Applies and saves all changes.
  • Cancel – Discards changes and returns to the search screen.
