Assembly Revision​

1.1 Add Assembly Revision​

Add Assembly Revision – Step-by-Step​

Step 1: Reach the Assembly Revision​

  • From the main side menu, click on Assembly Navigate to Masters select Assembly Revision.
  • This will open the Assembly Revision Search page.

Step 2: Adding an Assembly Revision​

  • On the top-right corner of the Assembly Revision Search page, click Add Assembly Revision.
  • The Create Assembly Revision screen will open.

Step 3: Fill in Details​

  • Part Name – Control Plan (Mandatory | Dropdown) - Select the required Control Plan / Part Name from the dropdow,the revision will be created for the selected control plan only.

  • Revision Number (Mandatory | Text Field)- Enter the revision number.

  • Revision Description (Mandatory | Text Field) - Enter a brief description explaining the changes made in this revision.

  • Revision Date (Mandatory | Date Field) - Select the effective date of the revision,Date format: dd-mm-yyyy.

Step 4: Save Assembly Revision​

  • Click Submit to save the Assembly Revision.
  • Click Clear to reset all entered fields.
  • Click Cancel to return to the search screen without saving.

1.2 Search Assembly Revision​

Search an Assembly Revision – Step-by-Step​

Step 1: Start Searching​

On the Assembly Revision Search page, you can search using the following filters:

  • Part Name / Control Plan - Select a specific control plan to view its revisions.

  • Revision Number

    • Enter the revision number to find a specific version.
  • Revision From Date & To Date

    • Specify a date range to search revisions created within that period.

Step 2: View Results​

  • Click Search to display matching records.
  • Click Clear to reset all search filters.

Search Results Grid​

The search results display the following columns:

  • S.No - Serial number of the record.

  • Control Plan Name - Displays the selected control plan name.

  • Revision Number- Displays the revision number.

  • Revision Date - Displays the revision effective date.

  • Grid Search (Top Right) - Allows quick filtering of records in the result table.


1.3 Edit Assembly Revision​

Edit an Assembly Revision – Step-by-Step​

Step 1: Find Assembly Revision​

  • Navigate to the Assembly Revision Search page.
  • Identify the required Assembly Revision.

Step 2: Start Editing​

  • Click Search to display results.
  • Use search filters to locate the required revision.

Step 3: Edit Details​

  • Click the Edit icon next to the record.
  • The Assembly Revision screen will open with existing data.

Step 4: Update Information​

  • Modify the allowed fields such as:
    • Revision Description
    • Revision Date
  • Review the changes carefully.

Step 5: Save Changes​

  • Click Submit to save the updated Assembly Revision details.
  • Click Cancel to exit without saving changes.
